Sandbrook comes to Broadchurch
Rose Tyler has met Lee Ashworth while working as a trainee hairdresser for Claire Ripley in Sandbrook. Things start to get complicated when they move to a rented house and a young girl dies while her older cousin goes missing. Alec Hardy is in charge of the case and thinks Rose knows more than she says and offers her protection by moving her to Broadchurch after starting an affair with her.
Torn apart
Rose Tyler met Alec Hardy the first day she went to a new school when she was just 13. Her mother had followed a boyfriend to Paisley in Scotland and said they were staying. Rose daren't speak at first but Alec was different. He became her friend, they had their first kiss at 13 but 3 years later, she was gone. This is how they were torn apart then found each other and fell in love again in 2012 and their ups and downs.
Rose Tyler arrives in Sandbrook when she hears 2 cousins have gone missing. She and Alec Hardy don't get on and he has a row with his wife when he sees her cheating on him and tries to book in at the same hotel but they don't have any rooms. He asks if Rose is staying there and knocks on her door. Rose then has to work with Tess without giving the game away.
Rose and Alec Hardy return to Saint Marie and the Tylers and Mickey are preparing to spend a late holiday on the island. Unknown to Alec, the Tylers are bringing a surprise with them - his daughter but also on the plane is an international jewel thief who causes a headache for the rest of the police force when Mickey unintentionally gets caught up in it all.
Alec Hardy is taking the night train to Fort William to travel around the Scottish highlands after he fails to reconnect with his daughter. Rose Tyler is taking over a new Torchwood office there and they meet when they are in adjoining cabins. Thinking they only have one night, they spend it together but when they reach their destination, they both realise they want more. Alec thinks she just wants the one night and wouldn't want to give up her new job just for him. Will she find him before he embarks on his travels when she realises she also wants more two days later?
No witness protection
Rose Tyler was staying with a friend on a new estate in Sandbrook when she sees 2 men carry something in a sheet. Rose learns about an appeal for witnesses when 2 cousins go missing after she gets home, contacts the police but hears nothing. Alec Hardy is about to see it all fall apart when Rose comes forward. He then has to keep her safe when the killers go free by taking her to Broadchurch.

Rose Tyler has taken up photography and moved to the town of Sandbrook after she sets her up her own studio. Alec Hardy has gone back after finally solving a failed difficult case and still trying to win his teenage daughter back. Her mother wants some nice photos of their daughter when he says he is taking Daisy back to Broadchurch with him so Alec makes an appointment at Rose's studio. Needless to say, he is smitten by Rose and starts making up excuses to go back and see her.
Rose Tyler has moved to the Caribbean Island of St Marie after her stepfather persuaded the commissioner to take her on as a trainee police officer. She is there six months before the DI is murdered and Alec Hardy, being on medical leave after solving the Broadchurch murder is sent to solve it. What can possibly go wrong?
Rose Tyler is the daughter of arcade boss Pete Tyler in the seaside town of Broadchurch. Rose is in danger when Jack Harkness, Pete's arcade rival goes after her to get in on his plans for the town after DI Alec Hardy arrives and falls in love with Rose. Harkness's plan is going sour so he makes one last desperate attempt to get to Pete and is planning to get Hardy out of his way.

After he's discharged from hospital, they begin an affair and Rose convinces him his wife is also having an affair. When the case falls apart, Alec asks for a transfer, having to leave Rose behind until she tells him she's pregnant. He takes a job in Broadchurch meant for someone else then they both walk into another murder.
A Broadchurch/Doctor Who/Castle/Jessica Jones crossover where Rose Tyler is kidnapped in New York by Kilgrave's henchmen and Pete Tyler enlists the help of his friend, Richard Castle but when after a week, the NYPD has got nowhere, Pete gets Alec Hardy, famous for solving the Broadchurch murder sent over to help find his stepdaughter.
Don't sleep in the subway
Alec Hardy leaves Broadchurch to report to New Scotland Yard but gets lost after a mistake with his hotel booking. Rose Tyler is on her way home from Torchwood and finds him studying the underground map and asks her for directions to another hotel. She takes pity on him and takes him back to her flat and he ends up staying, rather reluctantly after they argue and he leaves her.
Alec Hardy was married to Rose Tyler, they had both been detectives together and lived with their daughter Grace until Rose had enough of him working non-stop and left, taking the girl with her and Alec was only allowed to see her every other weekend. Then Rose is due a promotion but her ex husband beats her to it when he is unaware she is working in Broadchurch. Will they reconcile or drift further apart?
Rose Tyler has to attend a conference about the disappearance of the Cybermen just weeks after she says goodbye to the Doctor at Bad Wolf Bay. She meets Alec Hardy and decides to go live in Glasgow with him. This is their story of how they end up living in Broadchurch.
Based on 'Death in Paradise' - Alec Hardy is out of the Broadchurch Police until he gets himself fixed but a reprieve comes in the form of a transfer to a tiny Caribbean island called Saint Marie. Then a blow strikes when her job is cut and she faces the choice of being out of work or moving – to a place called Broadchurch but will she leave Alec?
AU - Set before the events of Danny's murder, Rose Tyler gets offered a place at university to study to be a maths teacher when she meets Alec Hardy, who is looking for a tutor for his daughter. He is on the verge of divorce but they are drawn together and they realise they are falling in love but then a case falls apart and he has to move to Broadchurch.
AU - Alec Hardy is recently divorced. His mates get him on a night out to the local exotic dance club where he is smitten by Rose Tyler who goes by another name. He shows his badge to get backstage, he shares a taxi home with her and spends the night. Then he gets jealous when he falls in love with her. These are the events leading to his arrival in Broadchurch.
